10. Lemon








Lemons are not only a very important part of our diet but it has also a lot of benefits for our health.

Lemons contain vitamin C and flavonoids, which help our body to fight respiratory infections such as the flu and cold.

Lemon juice contains citric acid which plays an important role in the dissolution of calcium deposits, gallstones and kidney stones and they also destroy the intestinal warms.

Lemon's juice can be used as an antibacterial to fight and destroy bacteria of cholera, diphtheria, malaria, typhoid and many other life threatening diseases .

What's most important of all lemon's benefits is its alkalizing ability for the body.

Lemons are acidic but they form alkaline on the body fluids by helping this way to restore balance in the body's pH levels.


9. Cucumber

Cucumbers are rich with water, they contain 95% water, keeping the body hydrated and at the same time helping it to eliminate toxins.

Cucumbers contain lariciresinol, pinoresinol, and secoisolariciresinol, which according to researches are connected with reducing risks of several cancer types like ovarian cancer, uterine cancer and prostate cancer.

In case you have a hangover just eat a few slices of cucumber before going to bed and since cucumbers contain sugar, B vitamins and electrolytes they reduce the intensity of hangover and headache.

Cucumber juice contains a hormone that is needed by pancreatic cells to produce insulin, which helps patients with diabetes.

Reduces cholesterol levels through some compounds called sterols found in cucumber .

Potassium, magnesium and fiber are efficient for regulating blood pressure, this way cucumbers can treat both low blood pressure and high blood pressure.

Cucumbers are rich in viatmins A, B1, B6, C & D, Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium, folate and they also contain source of silica, which strengthens connective tissues by promoting this way joints health, relieves gout and arthritis pain.

Avocados are rich in vitamins and minerals, they are also a good source of vitamin B5, K and fiber, which helps in digestion.

They have also high amounts of magnesium, iron, phosphorus and magnesium.

Avocados contain 77% calories which derive from fat, turning it this way one of the fattest plant foods in existence.

They can lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels and they can protect the eyes since they are rich with powerful antioxidants.

According to some studies avocados help in reducing the side effects of chemotherapy.

Avocados may help people use weight and they are also very easy to use in your diet.

Watermelons contains 92% waters, keeping the body hydrated and also watermelon is naturally low fat.

Watermelon helps in increasing urine flow acting as a natural diuretic and it also doesn't cause any side effects on the kidneys.

Vitamin C has an important role in healing wounds because enzymes that form collagen can't function without vitamin C. Watermelon is rich on vitamin C.

Watermelon also improves eye health, since it contains high amounts of beta-carotene.

Watermelon contains electrolytes which help regulation the actions of the nerves and muscles.

It contains lycopene which is important for the cardio-vascular health and it also plays an important role in bones health, also watermelon reduces body fat and it is a natural anti-inflammatory and an antioxidant.
6. Garlic

Garlic contains high levels of a sulfur compound called allicin , which helps reducing hair loss problems. 

Garlic ban also be used as an antibacterial due to its high amounts of antioxidants, this way garlic can be applied on acne and this way healing them.

Garlic also prevents and helps in treating colds, also you can use garlic to control weight and to treat athletes feet.

Mosquitoes seem not to like garlic, so garlic is the perfect way to keep them away but mosquitoes aren't the only one who doesn't like garlic, garden pests also 'hate' garlic, making it a great natural pesticide.

From the garlic 'haters' let's move to the garlic 'lovers', fishes love the garlic scent so next time you go fishing remember that and you will probably catch more fish !

It can help in reducing belly fat and it also helps to promote the health of the urinary tract.

Blueberries are rich on anthrocianosides which help in the eye health by preserving the vision.

They contain Vitamin C , Vitamin A, the complex of B vitamins, copper, seleniu, zinc which help to prevent and heal neurotic disorders by preventing the death of neurons. Blueberries can also restore the health of central nervous system.

The high amounts of fiber and antioxidants help in dissolving the cholesterol and preventing this way heart diseases.

Bananas are rich in pectin, they help in digestion by eliminating toxins and they also help in the growth of a friendly bacteria found in the bowel.

Bananas prevent kidney cancer and help strengthening the bones by increasing calcium absorption.

In case you have fever eating a banana can lower body temperatures.

Eating a banana before the exam you can profit from the high levels of potassium and also bananas can make you more alert while studying.

Bananas control blood sugars and it can be used to relieve itching and irritation caused by bugs biting .

They are natural antacid that provide relieve from reflux and heartburn.

Carrots have high levels of beta-carotene that acts as an antioxidant to the cell damage caused by the metabolism and it helps to slow down the aging.

Vitamin A prevents acne, skin wrinkling, blemishes and dry skin but vitamin A helps the liver to eliminate the toxins, they also reduce fat in bile and in the liver.

Carrots clean the teeth and mouth by removing the food particles and they stimulate guns and cause the formation of saliva.

Carrots prevent infection and heat diseases, diets with high levels of carotenoides are linked with lower risk of heart disease.

They also contain beta-carotene, which is converted into Vitamin A in the liver and then it is transformed in the retina to rhodopsine which is necessary for night vision.

According to some studies carrots reduce the risk of lung cancer, breast cancer and colon cancer, they contain falcarinol and farcaliondiol, which they think have the anticancer properties.

Falcarinol is also a natural pesticide that carrots use to protect its roots from fungal infection.

Beta-carotene protects the muscular degeneration and senile cataracts.

If you want to increase your athletic performance eating honey helps maintaining glycogen levels and improving the recover time.

  3. They never taught this to any of us in the school. It looks like the majority of the fruits and veggies help your eye sight, but they all have their own unique benefits ;) This and the Luxembourg article are your best so fay, so keep up the good work :)
